What you will do

Verify incoming stainless steel against mill test certificates and carry out PMI checks on product contact material.
Inspect machined and fabricated parts against drawings using calibrated measuring instruments.
Measure surface roughness on product contact parts and record the results for the dossier.
Inspect welds and polished finishes, raise non-conformance reports and verify corrective actions.
Maintain the calibration register for inspection equipment.

Requirements

Diploma or B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering.
3–6 years of dimensional and visual inspection in a fabrication or machining environment.
Confident reading engineering drawings, including GD&T.
Experience with vernier calipers, micrometers, height gauges and surface roughness testers.
Familiarity with ISO 9001 quality records; weld inspection training is an advantage.

Mechanical Design Engineer — Pharmaceutical Machinery

Own the qualification dossier that ships with every machine, and support customers through computerised system validation of our control software.

What you will do

Prepare DQ, IQ, OQ and PQ protocols and reports against each customer's user requirements specification.
Compile material test certificates, surface finish reports, calibration certificates and drawings into the dossier.
Lead computerised system validation (CSV) deliverables for machine software: risk assessment, traceability matrix, test scripts and summary report, following GAMP 5.
Witness and document factory acceptance tests, and manage deviations through to closure.
Keep document templates current with customer and regulatory expectations.

B.Pharm, M.Pharm or B.Tech in a relevant discipline.
